A FEW BIRD PHOTOS FROM MY RECENT TRIP TO PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
I had a nice time recently in Washington for the last week. My daughter in law was at a salon so dropped me off so I could sight see for an hour or so.
First thing I saw was this seagull.
Besides the seagulls I found some house sparrows. One seemed to be waving at me but he was probably getting ready to scratch his face.

SEAGULL IN PISMO
I was at the coast towards the end of January and took quite a few seagull photos. I am still editing days of photos from my trip. Problem is I visit the coast and take lots of photos but then I come home and we have day trips out to different places and then I get inundated with photos but eventually i'll get my favorites up. Here is a favorite.
There were egrets and seagulls on the beach looking for food so I got quite a few photos with the waves swelling behind them.

TWO FRIENDS FROM SEVERAL YEARS AGO - PIGEON AND GROUND SQUIRREL AT MORRO BAY
The day this was taken is as fresh in my memory as yesterday is. My sis and her husband and Mike and I were standing near some rocks at Morro Bay State Beach when these two were near my feet as I looked down. I remember one squirrel was actually beginning to nibble on my jeans near my ankle.
There's always something exciting to see in Morro Bay. I need to go back.
What a day - beautiful soft rain and about 10 minutes ago the skies broke open and what a downpour!
and in my yard yesterday one of the first ground squirrels I've seen for spring. They were absent all winter. Tree squirrels have been here year around and eating much of the bird seed I put out.
Ground squirrels are a little more polite.
