Mr. Cranky Feathers

Cranky Feathers has looked like this all winter.  I just can't get him to smile.

Kind of a strange effect on the photo - taken through my bedroom window.

SOME HERON PHOTOS FROM OUR WALK AROUND THE LAKE

There was a lot of snow around but he found an area where it had melted and was hanging out there.

We're in the low 40's today and it looks like no wind chill - so I'm hoping for another lake walk today.  It's always exciting to see something we're not expecting - like this heron.
