I'm glad I went back to this file of photos from Thanksgiving 2015. I had forgot about them until the other day. This is also the day that a sea lion was on the beach and I believe in some kind of distress.
You must have gotten down very low to get these gorgeous photos of the seagull. I always think they're old seagulls when they have these colors. They look elderly.

I agree...I love the angle you've taken this one...really draws the observer into the frame.
