VALENTINE'S DAY WAS A BEAUTIFUL DAY AT THE LAKE AND THE REFLECTIONS IN THE WATER
.....were beautiful. I enjoyed photographing the two mallards that were on the rocks.

Those reflections are so beautiful! Has Hunt taken the kitten out more than that one time on the leash? Wondering if the training is working.
well he did it two days in a row over the long weekend. She really doesn't like the leash - but if she is down on the path away from traffic it's better and if the wind isn't blowing it's even more better. We did meet a nice lady along the way who asked to hold her and beanie took right to her - she said anytime we need help if we need someone to babysit she would love to have her because she use to have cats but doesn't anymore and misses them so much.
Wow, that was sweet of the woman to offer to cat sit Beanie! Do you have a contact number for her in case you ever need it?
yes, we already texted her photos of her and Beanie that I took and she had asked us to send her some. She texted the other day and asked us that if the next time we walk the lake with beanie if we will call her so she can join us.
We get the same mallard females coming back to the pond to nest. Each hen has distinctive saddle marking on her bill. Some are more brown or blackish and in different sizes...
Very interesting MIchelle - I have yet to be able to tell if I'm seeing the same ones . I will begin to learn this.
