SONG SPARROW'S LUNCH

We were walking by an area at the lake where the sound of bird songs are the loudest.  I think all the sparrows and robins gather in this area (there is a little bit of water left in the creek by the lodge) to sing and eat.  There are lots of trees and high grass and most of the time it is difficult to even spot a bird as they are adept at staying invisible.  But I waited - and waited and finally caught some movement  and looked up and immediately clicked for the pic - wasn't sure it would even be in focus but it is enough in focus to see what he is eating.

Little sparrow way up high
Hiding from my eagle eye
Little sparrow in the woods
Is this your favorite of all foods
