These parrots were right below our balcony. They put them out every day on a railing above a little koi pond. At Humphreys they also have a venue for concerts and I was surprised to find out that any of the rooms facing the stage would go for about 300 to 400 plus a night, depending on if you had suite or not. We had a great deal on the room and wouldn't have gone unless it was inexpensive. We certainly aren't on a champagne budget. It was nice to have the experience of waking up and watching and birds every morning or walking along the marina.

Besides the parrots other birds would play in the trees right off the balcony. Here is a variant house finch who stayed long enough for me to get a couple photos.
The bird songs were great to wake up to.

my gosh, no wonder you love all species so much, they are extraordinary, I wouldn't have known that without you...amazing post, you should have hundreds of comments, because you/they are spectacular, but that would mean more visits to people so they could visit back and you're probably too busy. I'd rather you take your birds and show your incredible talent instead of visiting. They have no idea what they're missing so glad to be here.
